Before your first ride.
When are the Hikencyc rides?
Every Friday night and every Sunday morning. Exact meeting points and start times are shared on WhatsApp and on hikencyc.com, as they can change with the season and route.
Is it free to join?
Joining the community is easy. Some special events carry a registration fee, which is listed with the event on hikencyc.com. Message us to confirm for the ride you want.
I'm a beginner. Can I come?
Absolutely. Hikencyc rides welcome all levels, and the group keeps a friendly pace. Tell us your level when you sign up and we will guide you.
I don't own a cycle. Can I still ride?
Yes. You can rent a cycle from The Cycling Point in F-8 Markaz. Rental cycles are limited, so please book before the ride.
What should I bring?
A helmet, water, and a working cycle. For night rides, front and rear lights are strongly recommended. Wear comfortable clothes and shoes.
What if the weather is bad?
If conditions are unsafe, the ride is rescheduled and we let riders know through WhatsApp and social media.
